We hate pain, it’s awful and we try as much as possible to avoid it but here is the paradox, the reality of pain and pleasure coexist and one cannot do without the other. To get rewarded we must subject ourselves to pain and discomfort and when we finally get our reward its misuse or overuse leads to further pain so then what’s the whole essence of chasing pleasure?
