At entrepreneur since the age of 20, Daniel has founded and sold two previous companies (a martial arts academy he started to pay for grad school, and an Inc5000 eCommerce business) in order to gather the funds needed to focus fully on Emerj. Daniel is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, winning the title of 2011 national champion (IBJJF Pan America Games).
