The New Testament has little to say about external symbols and rituals. Men are to pray with the lifting up of holy hands. But what is this 1 Corinthians 11 bit on head coverings for women? We discuss the history of it, the 0.06 percent of protestants that still require it, and the biblical data on the subject. Is it really a cultural issue if the angels are concerned with it, and if the creation ordinance is reintroduced? What if women never pray or prophesy at the church?
