15: Being a survivor with Michael Chase
April 15, 2023 is the ten-year anniversary of an event that changed Michael Chase's life.
He is a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing. He and I were a few hundred feet apart that afternoon and we met for the first time two months ago. Listen in as he talks about what he has learned over the past decade about resilience, the willingness to ask for help, and how to prioritize finding support after experiencing a trauma.
Michael is a school resource officer and a speaker who talks about the impact a little kindness can have, to create a more compassionate, empathic, and kinder world, one person at a time. He is also the founder of KindessWeek at the school where he works, Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School, which takes place every year in the week before the anniversary of the bombing
You can reach Michael on his website, Michael Chase Speaks or via email: michael@michaelchasespeaks.com.
