New Thinking Allowed Audio Podcast The Mind-Virus with Paul Levy
Paul Levy is author of The Madness of George W. Bush: A Reflection of Our Collective Psychosis, Dispelling Wetiko: Breaking the Curse of Evil, Awakened By Darkness: When Evil Becomes Your Father, The Quantum Revelation: A Radical Synthesis of Science and Spirituality, and Wetiko: Healing the Mind-Virus that is Plaguing Our World. Here Paul Levy share his four “ignoble blindnesses” he associates with the mind-virus that he labels Wetiko, based on indigenous North American legend. He points out that this insidious form of evil is understood, by different names, in every culture. It can be thought of as demonic, or Satanic. In Islam, it is associated with Iblis. The novelist/philosopher Colin WIlson called it “the mind-parasite.” Philip K. Dick referred to it as “the black iron prison.” Ironically, it is an indispensable tool pushing humanity toward wisdom and enlightenment.
New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in “parapsychology” ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death.
