That time is short is so painfully obvious, because at what point does even tech outpace that Revelation 13 scenario? Living on the edge of history has its advantages –  namely, it keeps us on our toes and the edge of our seats all at the same time. Now, if AI genius of the day Peter Thiel is delivering lectures on the antichrist, it might be time to look up. When quakes and volcanoes threaten “global winter”, it might be time to look up. When persecution and the Middle East heat up hot as the fires of judgment, it might be time to look up. The point of all of it? Look up! Our redemption is nigh and people are on the edge of sanity it would seem. More news cycle and more mayhem awaits, but it’s all good. Take us home, Lord.
