Het Betere Werk #11 with Alex McCann: the death of the corporate job (and what's next)
Something clicked when I read Alex McCann’s piece ‘The death of the corporate job’ on Substack. And I wasn’t the only one. His writing went viral (13k+ likes on Substack is insane). It clearly resonates with a big audience. That combination led me to inviting him for my very first English episode of Het Betere Werk.
In this conversation we try to unpack this shift Alex’ so brilliantly describes. What’s happening to traditional linear careers? Are we realising that the classic career path is not delivering on its promise? Is the corporate job dead? And if so, how do we go from here? How do we live a working life full of meaning and joy? Should that be a goal?
I love to hear Alex think out loud and not jump to easy (boring) answers on difficult questions. I highly recommend you follow Still Wandering on Substack and his LinkedIn. And I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did.
