This is the sixth installment in Eric Ludy’s series entitled The Muscular Christian. In this episode he unpacks the idea of self-control. God has entrusted each of us with a body (a boxing ring), but without the aid of the Holy Spirit we are unable to master this body and subject it to the priority of Jesus Christ. However, at the Cross and via His resurrection and ascension, Jesus has supplied us with everything we need for life and godliness. He has given us precisely what we need to control the ring.
