Jaguar Jonze - Fighting against a toxic industry
In an industry built to protect those in power, and keep voices silent, how do you ensure your advocacy for what is right, doesn't come at the cost of your own identity?
Deena Lynch (Jaguar Jonze) is one of Australian music's most powerful voices. In 2019, Jonze was one of the first survivors to speak out about their experience of sexual abuse within the Australian music industry. Her bravery, strength and power encouraged others to do the same, and was the catalyst for a movement that swept through Australian music.
Jaguar joins host Luke Darcy from a rainy Brisbane to chat the impact her advocacy had on the industry, how she's handling the pressure of being a leader, and what's next on her creative bucket list.
