Social media allows for personal engagement like no other marketing platform and to a patient, it’s the most ‘real’ display of what we’re about and what we offer.
A few years ago, Dr Karim Habib, a leading cosmetic dentist based in Sydney started building his personal brand or profile on instagram and today it’s one of his most effective methods of marketing to new patients. With over 20K followers, he is one of the most followed dentists in Australia and if you check out his account, you’ll see why.
We’re connected more than ever and the level of transparency between what we do for patients and what our patient’s want has never been greater. People want social proof and a tonne of evidence and reassurance before they commit to treatment. Social media is an platform to take advantage of this and give our patients what they need. In this podcast, Dr Karim shares with us his journey with how he got started with growing his practice with social media and how he’s made it as successful as it has been.
Dr Karim Habib
Karim moved to Australia from Toronto, Canada in 2006 and has since then called Sydney home. After graduating with honours from the University of Sydney, he completed numerous continuing education programs in Orthodontics, Implantology and dental aesthetics thus enabling him to provide comprehensive care to his patients. His true passion lies in the “Art of Dentistry”, always striving to deliver treatment that is not only functional, but also beautiful. He has a special interest in carrying out minimally invasive aesthetic transformations with direct composite resin and veneers. Karim is the Principal Dentist at Dental Square, a private practice in Sydney with a focus on dental aesthetics and smile design.
