After years of intense negotiation, the railway connecting Kunming in China to Vientiane, the capital city of Laos is finally completed making it vastly faster and easier for goods to be moved between both countries. This is part of China’s Belt & Road ambition that might eventually see a linkage through Thailand and into Malaysia and Singapore. Thailand-listed logistics players Kerry Express, Wice Logistics, and Sonic Interfreight are set to be beneficiaries.
