He has spent over 50 years studying evidence for UFOs, extraterrestrial beings, and abductions. He has published works on these subjects, advocating for the serious consideration of UFO phenomena by mainstream science. His stance is that some UFOs are extraterrestrial vehicles, and some of these vehicles have extraterrestrial crews. He also believes in the "catch and release" theory where extraterrestrial beings study humans​​​​.
