On today’s Summer special, I am joined by Stefanie Michele, a Certified Coach, Occupational Therapist, Intuitive Eating Counsellor with a background in Human Development and Mental Health Psychology. Perhaps more importantly, she has first hand experience with recovery from 20+ years of body and food disorder. Her disordered eating began when she was a teenager and she then struggled with bulimia, binge-eating disorder and orthorexia well into her 30s. The binge-restrict cycle dominated her life and she lived in fear of gaining weight. However, one day she decided to enlist the support of a coach to help her change her relationship with her body and this began to aid her recovery. Stefanie has now made it her mission to help others reframe their thought patterns, heal their relationship with food and discover an identity outside of food and body image.
