We understand wanting to have your ducks in a row before hiring a Client Account Manager, but we're here to tell you that your agency does ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ต need to have SOP's, workflows, or even specific roles for the CAM before hiring someone like us (DOT!).
In all honesty, it works better for us if you DON'T have all of your systems in place, so we can help you write the book as you grow.
When getting ready to hire, here are the main things to consider as you prep:
- You should have enough clients to justify a Client Account Manager role (we recommend at least 3-5, depending on the size of the scope).
- You have to be willing to hand over the reins - sometimes we all need that friendly reminder that you will have to give up some control.
- You must understand and see the Client Account Manager role as an investment into your future business. {Pssst...DOT & Company's whole purpose is to help agencies scale, we are here to help.)
