155 How to Heal From Past Trauma: Interview with Dr. Jim Gordon

Under Western medicine – particularly in the U.S. – many people rely on medications and guidance from healthcare providers to treat their physical and psychological ailments. As the founder and CEO of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, D.C., Harvard-educated psychiatrist Dr. Jim Gordon is internationally recognized for using self-awareness, self-care, and group support to heal population-wide psychological trauma. Dr. Gordon is also the author of the book, “Transforming Trauma: The Path to Hope and Healing,” a clinical professor at Georgetown Medical School, and served as Chairman of the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy under Presidents Clinton and George W.
