Why did Lowina sell two houses to buy Bitcoin?

Before Lowina Blackman was a ‘Holistic Crypto Mentor’ she came from humble beginnings.

Born into a poor family in Hong Kong, she lived her early years in the ghetto. 

Lowina didn’t fit into the school system. 

She always questioned why she was learning all this stuff that didn’t seem important to her.

From a young age she had the intuition that technology like ‘Google’ would be here in the future to eliminate the need for senseless memorisation (this was back in the eighties).

After finishing school, Lowina studied fashion and design at University. This is when she first came across the book ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ which opened up her mind to new possibilities.

The core message that stuck out to her was,

“Your house is a liability, buy assets that give you income.”

After observing her wealthy grandmother who passed away as a multi-millionaire - she realised this was true.

Her grandma's wealth didn’t come from her education, it came from business and investing in property.  

After graduating from Uni, Lowina landed her first post-grad job as a fashion designer. 

She committed to save 30% of her income so she could start buying stocks and ultimately get into the property market. 

In 2015, Lowina’s beliefs about money and investing were turned upside down when she stumbled upon a video on YouTube that introduced her to Bitcoin. 

This led her down a deep rabbit hole learning about Bitcoin and the flawed fiat money system. 

After getting some skin in the game and making some early mistakes, 

Such as selling 2 Bitcoin for $600 to buy a ‘Chanel’ handbag… 

(2 Bitcoin is now worth $200,000!) 

She licked her wounds and continued to be a student of Bitcoin and the developing Crypto market. 

After 9 years in the Bitcoin & Crypto world, Lowina has been able to build financial independence and is helping many other entrepreneurs learn about this developing space.
