Her work includes the TV series Queen Sugar and Women of the Movement, and feature films like Red Dust, and Yesterday, the latter of which received the Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language Film in 2005. And now her latest project is the Aretha Franklin biopic, RESPECT.
