Our Season 2 Finale features a lively discussion with author, sex educator, podcaster, pornographer and, now, queer memoirist, Tristan Taormino. We taped this episode live at the iconic Pleasure Chest in West Hollywood. We talk about Tristan's memoir A Part of the Heart Can't be Eaten which chronicles Tristan's formative relationship with her gay dad, the other queers through her childhood and beyond who shaped her queer identity and put her on her path as a sex writer and THE anal sex expert. We love on the 90s, queer femmes, drag queens, breakthrough lovers, sex workers, and so much more. We quiz an audience member on our season 1 & 2 segments. We field audience questions about moving through sexual trauma and how to transition your mindset from being in control and beholden to your day-to-day expectations to allow yourself to explore submission and kinky power dynamics. At the end of the episode, Tristan puts her podcast host hat on and poses questions to Sarah and Robin.
