Irish Contributions to Understanding Consciousness with James Tunney

James Tunney, LLM, is an Irish Barrister who has lectured on legal matters throughout the world. He is a poet, a visual artist, and also author of The Mystical Accord: Sutras to Suit Our Times, Lines for Spiritual Evolution. In addition, he has written two dystopian novels — Blue Lies September, and Ireland I Don’t Recognize Who She Is. His website is http://www.jamestunney.com.

Here he reviews Ireland’s enormous contributions to both psychological understanding and esoteric thought. This extensive conversation covers prehistoric folk and fairy lore, the idealistic philosophy of Bishop George Berkeley, as well as the literary contributions from William Butler Yeats, Oscar Wilde, and James Joyce. The discussion also touches upon violent conflicts related to Irish independence.
