#096 Bringing theology to life through the arts - with Dr. Iwan Russell-Jones
It's always a treat to talk to Dr. Iwan Russell-Jones––and today’s podcast is no exception! Iwan spent 25 years as a TV and radio producer and director for the BBC before joining Regent's faculty as the Eugene and Jan Peterson Associate Professor of Theology and the Arts. Iwan is a passionate advocate for the importance of the arts in theological conversations, arguing that every generation and culture has to wrestle with the question of how the arts fit into the life of the church in that particular time and place. Is “Christian art” a real thing? Will artists see the fruit of their labor? Is Regent's Integrative Project in Arts & Theology better a thesis? Iwan has the answers. Don’t forget to leave us a comment. Enjoy the podcast!
