"I started my blogging journey in 2011 while studying Radio, Television and Film at The University of North Texas. At the time, I knew little to nothing about the blogging world, how it worked, and if it was something I was ready to constantly manage. What kept me going was the thrill of not knowing. I recognized the challenge of starting my own blog as an exciting (but scary!) opportunity, and decided to go for it.. .

After countless hours of blog research, “How-to HTML Code” Youtube videos, begging a family member to take my photos, moving to a new city (Los Angeles), and 300 blog posts later – a digital dream was born. I can’t express enough how the journey of becoming a so-called digital influencer has required more than just learning how to take a pretty picture. It’s a business very few understand. To give you some scoop into my world – my day starts at 7 am and it ends around 6pm (if I’m lucky!) On a daily basis, I spend a lot of my time answering emails, crunching numbers, scheduling blog and social media posts, meeting with brands, styling outfits, shooting content (aka chasing golden hour lighting!), editing videos..the list goes on. It’s not always pretty and it’s not as easy as it might look. Thank God for wine on those hard-to-get-through days. Offline, my biggest dream came true when I married my college sweetheart in May 2015. It’s been a new and exciting chapter that has inspired me to be more open about my personal life with my digital world. Stevie has been the MVP behind the scenes of my blog and in my life for years. Very few people knew this. Aside from being my photographer and knowing how to capture my good side (ha!), he has taught me a valuable lesson. When the going gets tough, he reminds me that things don’t have to be perfect. Not everything is an “Instagram moment.” Turn the phone off and be present for the real life moments.

It’s incredible what can happen when you let go of the “what ifs” and jump for what you love. I mean this in every way. If I didn’t love my life and what I do, I wouldn’t feel right putting my time into it. In 2014, I decided to launch my Youtube channel to show the quirkier side of Sazan. It’s a side of me that I wanted people to see. The real me! It’s been such a cool experience getting to be the talent, producer, and editor of your own channel. I feel like I’m on a thrill ride and I never want to get off.

In December 2016 we launched our subscription company Bless Box, giving subscribers the best in beauty, body, luxury, and style. That was my baby (let’s be real, it still is) until we had our precious daughter, Valentina, in December 2017. Since then, our life has been even more of a whirlwind than it was before! but we wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂 Finally in August 2018, Stevie and I launched our very own podcast, The Good Life. We’ve had amazing support so far from our listeners, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us next!

Stevie grew up in Round Rock, Texas, and earned his Bachelor's degree in radio, television, and film at the University of North Texas in 2013. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of a career in acting and TV hosting. In 2014, he and Sazan began working together as partners for Sazan, LLC.
