Thrive Solo Minisode Ep. 25 - Something Weird Is Happening To Me
In this week's minisode, I'm talking about the weird thing that has been happening to me since getting my kitten, Johnny Depp.
When Johnny moved in I expected, if anything, that the feelings of broodiness I've been experiencing for the last few years might subside. How wrong I was!
It turns out that getting a kitten has unleashed a multitude of latent maternal instincts that I never even realised were lurking inside of me. It's as if the floodgates of potential motherhood have been unlocked, and this tiny 'fur baby' has only served to remind my body that what it really wants is an ACTUAL baby.
But that's the thing. It's my body that wants it - not my mind. Because my mind knows, without a shadow of a doubt, that having a human baby would take my life in a direction that I do not want it to go.
