Tragic Plane Crash in Muan

A passenger plane crash in Muan, South Cholla province, resulted in the deaths of 179 people, making it the deadliest aviation disaster in South Korea since 1997. The Jeju Air Boeing 737, which was carrying 181 people, collided with a concrete wall shortly after attempting a belly landing due to landing gear failure following a bird strike.
