Over the last few months, we’ve had some amazing women on the podcast and a common thread has begun to emerge: no matter the industry they’re leading, almost all of them have made a career change — sometimes a major career shift! For many years, she enjoyed an extremely successful career at Goldman Sachs, but in her late 30s, she went back to school, got a master's degree in social work, and three years later, co-founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Under her leadership, the organization just hit the incredible milestone of nearly 2 billion dollars — yes billion — raised to fund the research that will hopefully find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease one day in the very near future.
