Jide shares with Jayda how he got into outdoors adventuring that has seen him go everywhere from Morocco to Everest, and how he credits his mum for his entrepreneurial and adaptive character. He talks about the importance of creating the spaces you want yourself and why community is at the core of hope for him, Jayda and Jide also talk about both being black people who love being in the outdoors but why it isn’t always accessible to POC people in the West and so why Jide has built a community that makes going on outdoors adventures both a safe space but also a joyful space for black people and POC, especially wanting to make trekking and travel safer for black women. Jide also shares his dreams and what mountain he wants to summit, and the importance of finding like minded people to achieve your goals and bring expansive adventure to your life.

After which he co-founded Yoke Network, a successful TikTok marketing agency.
