They speak about Jon's new documentary film - Sight & Sound - the cinema of Walter Murch (https://t.co/W22f0L5vB3?amp=1). Walter - considered one of the greatest film editors of all time is also the first artist to have been given the film credit of 'sound designer'. Karthik and Jon talk about some of Walter's greatest collaborations with Coppola (Godfather, Conversations, Apocalypse Now), Anthony Minghella (Cold Mountain, English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley), and George Lucas (THX 1138). They also talk about their favorite cinematic moments involving Walter and the art of editing itself.
