86 - Scaling Ethereum-Based dApps with Jack O’Holleran from SKALE

Jack tells us about how the idea for SKALE came into being, and what the platform offers that other layer-2 solutions don’t. We also talk about how consensus works on SKALE.

We cover the similarities and differences between SKALE and Polkadot, and Jack discusses any trade-offs or compromises the team has had to make. We talk about whether other people will try to emulate SKALE in the future.

Jack shares some of his favorite projects currently being built on SKALE, and also gives his thoughts on what the future holds for crypto in general.
