In Episode 192 I sit down with Eric Tung. Eric and I were recently connected through a mutual friend, and I was happy to have him on the show. Eric has been a police officer for 16 years in Washington State. His assignments included K9 officer, field trainer, recruiter, and civil disturbance team leader. He currently serves as a commander of patrol operations and within his department’s wellness and peer support programs. His mission is for "Better Cops, Better Community," through writing and building content for the Blue Grit Radio Podcast focused on mindset, leadership, and wellness. It was great to see someone within a command staff willing to just sit down and be a real person and discuss the challenges the profession faces with authenticity.
