GE2025: The race begins! Here's what to look out for before you head to the ballot box.

With Polling Day set for 3rd May, the countdown is on for Singapore to vote for 97 Members of Parliament, who will serve the country for the next five years. 

We are just a week away from Nomination Day, slated for 23rd April, of which the finalised list of candidates will be confirmed. Then, it's 9 days of whirlwind campaigning, before a cooling off day.

Fielding 30 potential new faces, this election will be the first under the leadership of Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. 

On the Breakfast Show, Audrey Siek speaks to Eugene Tan, Associate Professor of Law from the Yong Pung How School of Law at Singapore Management University, to talk about the key issues that are top of mind for Singaporeans, and the reasons behind our shorter campaign periods.
