Ann chats with Sharon Stephens, licensed counselor, on the importance of boundaries in healthy relationships and what happens when you don't have them. Sharon defines and describes boundaries in detail, what they are and why you need them. Finding ways to successfully set boundaries helps people maintain a sense of control. Learning to hear and say "no" correctly is critical to physical, spiritual and mental health. Boundaries are important for both self-care and being kind to others. By setting boundaries, we can avoid overworking ourselves and help others understand our limits.
