The Dallas Cowboys are on a roll, and combined with the Philadelphia Eagles struggles, have gotten themselves back into the NFC playoff race, but the Cowboys still are climbing up a tough hill. Staying in Texas, the Houston Texans are on fire as well and have put themselves back in the AFC race, but to keep their hopes alive they will have to face the Kansas City Chiefs, who are also desperate. Speaking of the Chiefs, they have made it to must-win territory and a loss to the Texans this week basically ends their playoff hopes. The Pittsburgh Steelers are also in crisis as their season has started to unravel, but they certainly aren't alone as the Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions are also floundering. Finally, the New England Patriots kept their great year going against the New York Giants in a game everyone expected them to win, but the Patriots haven't proven enough to earn playoff optimism right now.
