Processing an insurance claim is a significant concern.
Did you know that the insurance company actually has a limited number of days to investigate and ultimately pay your claim?
But every state has its own laws and regulations.
There is no federal rule that gives companies a set amount of time because insurance companies are regulated at the state level.
I think some of those laws are changing pretty soon but either way, look it up in your state and find out what the limit is.
Make sure that they're aware that you are aware that there is a time limit.
