During his 2014 visit to the Sydney Opera House Michael Pollan said “I write books about what I’m interested in”. And at that point, he was interested in food production, diet, and ways we eat. Now he’s turned his attention to a different type of edible, with his new book about psychedelics, and the effects they can have on depression, addiction, and on our very sense of self.
