President Donald Trump said he would hold another meeting Wednesday to discuss the conflict in the Middle East but remained coy about whether the US plans to join Israel’s offensive aimed at destroying Iran’s nuclear enrichment program.
Trump told reporters he would meet his advisers in the White House Situation Room and again chastised Tehran for being “late” to negotiate with him, but said he had not made a final decision on whether to launch strikes.
“I have ideas as to what to do,” the president told reporters in the Oval Office. “I like to make the final decision one second before it’s due because things change, especially with war.”
