You have done some pretty incredible things in your life that have required consistent effort. In fact, you do things every single day of your life that require a great deal of effort! So what’s up with the idea some people have that they “can’t” keep up the effort to maintain a healthy lifestyle or that it’s “too hard?” You put forth effort to complete high school or college and that took a lot of work… for a lot of days. You go to work… and that takes a tremendous amount of effort … every day. If you’re in a relationship, raising children, or taking care of aging parents, you are most definitely putting forth a lot of effort each day! Use this knowledge that you CAN and apply it to your ability to put forth the effort needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle after weight loss.
