The action-packed NBA trade deadline has come and gone. Action Network fantasy basketball analysts Dan Titus and Adam Koffler break down all the trades and provide you with the fantasy impact of each move while also taking a look ahead at an extended Week 18 due to the All-Star break.
It all starts with Brooklyn and Philly - who made the biggest deal at the deadline centered around James Harden and Ben Simmons. Both these guys clearly needed a change of scenery, but their fantasy values don’t change all that much. Andre Drummond went to the Nets in this blockbuster deal, and he could see the biggest boost in minutes of all the pieces involved.
Derrick White went to Boston for Josh Richardson and Romeo Langford. White’s role as the sixth man looks secure in Boston, but this trade impacts the fantasy value of one San Antonio Spur who wasn’t even involved in the deal. Koffler and Titus discuss who that player is.
And in a strange turn of events, the Mavericks traded Kristaps Porzingis for Spencer Dinwiddie. What does this mean for the Washington frontcourt and who loses value in the Dallas backcourt as a result of this move?
As always, Titus and Koffler run you through the upcoming schedule and talk about the best waiver wire adds for both the short and long-term as we get closer and closer to the fantasy basketball playoffs that are just around the corner.
