The Beginnings of Jack Parsons' Rocketry Endeavors

Jack Parsons, a self-taught chemist and rocket enthusiast, developed a keen interest in rocketry in his youth. Conducting experiments in his backyard, Parsons faced challenges with rocket fuel stability. He innovatively used glue to prevent fuel separation, showcasing his early ingenuity. He later delved into liquid fuel rockets and conducted successful tests, eventually cofounding the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, known today as JPL.
