The state of Alabama ignores a ruling by the Supreme Court that it must include another black majority district when drawing Congressional District maps. Alabama doubles down with another controversial map that does not comply.
An ally of former President Donald Trump who investigated claims of voter fraud in 2020 is now handing over a mountain of documents to Special Counsel Jack Smith. Bernard Kerik, had resisted subpoenas until now. Kerik, is the former NY police commissioner pardoned by Trump in 2020 after doing a four year stint in prison on felony charges of tax fraud and lying to White House officials.
