Tulsi Gabbard is an American politician, United States Army war veteran, 2020 presidential candidate and political commentator who served as the U.S. representative for Hawaii's 2nd congressional district from 2013 to 2021. Gabbard was first elected to her native state of Hawaii's legislature in 2002 as a Democrat, at the age of 21. She is now an independent.
