Jessica McGuigan on financial education, and why financial planning is a great career for women.

This week’s guest on the Financial Planner Life podcast is Jessica McGuigan from Critchleys.

Jessica left school at 17 and like many school leavers did not have a clue what she wanted to do with her life, she worked in bars and restaurants for several years and at 19 became a Mum. 

Needing a job that offered security she landed a 6-week contract in the post room of a financial planning practice; fast forward 5 years Jessica is now an award-winning financial planner.

•Why financial planning is the perfect career for women of all ages, and her personal experience of the flexibility it offers a young mum.
