Jenna Kutcher started a decade ago on a whim to leave the corporate world and let her entrepreneurial flag fly. She bought a used camera for $300 and soon became the best wedding photographer in Wisconsin, 4 years in a row. She built a 7-figure business that is all about helping entrepreneurial souls flourish in their careers and life. I've loved Jenna's work, wit, and words and am so glad to share her experience and story with you.
Time to Dig In
I'm going to get right to it. This conversation was pure gold. The question Jenna's massage therapist/healer asked her is what I think most of us are often avoiding. Grab a pen and journal and reflect on this one: There's something you need to do, and you know what it is. You need to do it. When will you begin?
This lands right at the very of your core, right? It's such a powerful question, and this is what got Jenna inspired to write her latest book, How Are You, Really? while pregnant with her second baby girl, all while working on her podcast Goal Digger. Her book is about getting honest with ourselves so that we can come home to ourselves. I love Jenna's reminder that there is no right time to take action on your dreams, on that thing you know you're here to do. You just need to create space so it can pour out of you.
Follow Your Map
Jenna Kutcher and I also talked about how this book is to help you remember that you're the keeper of your map and that when your values, integrity, and alignment back your vision, all is possible. I've seen this in my own life many, many times, whether it was starting this podcast or deciding to shift gears and follow my intuition to teach about intuition. Whatever that thing is that lives inside you that wants out listen to her. Go for it. Do the thing. I really vibed with what Jenna said regarding not falling into the trap of following someone else's blueprint.
