The Sober Truth is a book that talks about the evidence for success in 12-step programs in alcohol use disorder recovery. Unfortunately, the results are not great. It is important for people who suffer from alcoholism to be aware of the fact that there is medical treatment for alcohol addiction and it is consistent with the Alcoholics Anonymous program.
