The Way of the Rose is one of my most beloved books & in todays episode I have the authors Clark Strand & Perdita Finn on the show. 

The great healing wisdom of the rosary is that beginnings are arbitrary and endings are temporary. Life is not linear but circular--and the mother that births us and receives our bodies at death stands ready to rebirth us as well. The guidance we need through these mysteries is seeded in our own hearts and when we pray for our heart's desire we can begin to know where we are and where we are supposed to go.

Clark Strand and Perdita Finn are the co-authors of The Way of the Rose: The Radical Path of the Divine Feminine Hidden in the Rosary (Spiegel & Grau, 2019) and the co-founders of the international fellowship of the same name, devoted to the earth and the Lady "by any name you want to call her." Strand has written numerous books on spirituality and climate change including Waking Up to the Dark: The Black Madonna's Gospel for An Age of Extinction and Collapse (revised edition Monkfish Publishing, Fall 2022) and Now Is The Hour of Her Return (Five Petal Press, 2021. 

Finn teaches workshops on collaborating with the ancestors and is the author of the forthcoming Take Back the Magic: Getting to Know the Dead (Running Press, fall 2023).
