Today’s special episode of Electronically Yours features the composer, musician, producer, singer, songwriter and multi-media artist, Annie Hogan.

She is most famous for her crucial involvement with Marc Almond’s Marc and the Mambas. One of the first female DJ/promoters to emerge from the post-punk scene of Leeds and London, she spread her infectious enthusiasm for electronic music.

Annie has worked with many seminal artists as pianist/keyboardist and arranger, including Simon Fisher-Turner, Nick Cave and Barry Adamson, then she was part of the Willing Sinners and then La Magia, co-producing their 1989 album The Stars We Are, which featured the number one single ‘Something’s Got A Hold Of My Heart’ featuring Marc Almond and Gene Pitney.

Ladies and gentlemen – the unique, talented and prolific Annie Hogan...
