Saving the planet with capital allocation w/ Will Wiseman of Climatize (ep#31)

A popular talking point from the technocrats is that technology will save us and the planet so we should all just relax. Don't get me started on all the problems with that argument, but Will Wiseman has another solution at the intersection of commerce and climate activism:  Capital.

In today's episode Will walks me through how his startup Climatize is helping to fund climate projects that aren't able to receive big bank dollars yet.  Climatize is helping to galvanize the energy transfer to renewables by funding projects that can make a real difference today along side the, hopefully, evolving technology.   

Will talks about the climate economy and the problems we face with the same ease and deep knowledge that I discuss the Back to the Future trilogy.  I learned a lot during this interview and I hope you do too!   Will is currently the CEO &Co-Founder of Climatize, an easy & transparent mobile app enabling investments in renewable energy projects. Will has worked in the clean energy industry for 9 years in roles such as managing multi-million dollar electrical projects, as an energy market analyst &  even as a solar panel installer.

He also holds a Double Masters in Renewable Energy Engineering and in 2023, Will was selected among the Forbes 30 Under 30 for Social Impact.

And in 2022 he was selected as a Young Global Changer by the World Policy Forum
