Doomsday Prepping for Normal People (What You Actually Need)

Okay, I know how this is going to sound, but friends… we need to talk about doomsday prepping.

Before you picture me building a bunker in my backyard, hear me out. This isn’t about living in fear or convincing yourself the world is ending. It’s about being prepared enough that when the power goes out, a major storm hits, supplies are harder to get, or life throws us another 2020-sized curveball, you don’t have to panic.

In this chat, I’m sharing exactly how I think about emergency preparedness, from the simple things you can start doing today to what a realistic two week stockpile can actually look like. We’re talking food, water, generators, power outages, emergency supplies, and how to prepare in a way that makes sense for your home, your family, and your budget.

I’m also sharing how I prepared my family before the pandemic, why I think there’s a difference between being anxious and being ready, and the question I ask myself any time I’m worried that I might be “doing too much.”

Because the goal isn’t to prepare for every possible disaster. It’s to make sure you have what you need to stay safe and comfortable when something unexpected happens.

✨ We Chat About:

• What practical emergency preparedness actually looks like
• The difference between a three day and two week stockpile
• The food, water, electricity, and emergency supplies I prioritize
• Why I invested in a generator and backup water options
• How to start prepping even if you don’t have a huge budget or extra space
• What preparing for the pandemic taught me about trusting my instincts
• How to prepare without letting fear and anxiety take over

The storms will come, and they’ll pass. The goal is simple: stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.
