John Gwyn Jones MBE is a former international school headteacher and CEO of the Federation of British Schools in Asia (FOBISIA). He is based in Penang, Malaysia.

From a career in banking in a small welsh mining village, to being awarded an MBE and appointed the CEO of one of the largest british education federations in the world, John talks us through the decision to move overseas and why he has never looked back.

John shares stories around a variety of topics including; his mentors, how being exposed to different leadership styles allow you to develop, not getting caught up in trying to be a popular leader, being humble and why happy schools make the very best schools.
