Lawyer and history professor? Hans Leaman shares his unexpected journey to Yale University, where he trained to be both a lawyer and a historian. During that time, he researched in Germany and provided attorney services pro bono for refugees in Washington, D.C. Hans Leaman, JD, PhD received his A.B. from Princeton University, a J.D. from Yale Law School, and a Ph.D. from Yale University’s History Department and Renaissance Studies Program. He is the Academic Dean and Associate Professor of History at Sattler College.
