Many of us have “traveling with the family” on our bucket lists. We crave freedom from the 9-5 or the luxury of the four-day work week, but the systems and mindset that we operate on never get us anywhere near achieving them. What if you can achieve more of these results while working less time?
At 41, published author, international speaker, and certified digital marketing strategist, Nick Cownie has figured out how he can travel the world, do awesome things with amazing people, and get paid for it.
Quite different from the average business, Nick’s month looks like 10 hours of work per month delivering his services to his clients, and 30 hours dedicated to marketing and sales.
He employs a pragmatic approach to life and his business methods take him and his clients to their point B faster. Over the years of his coaching experience, Nick developed simplistic NLP techniques of teaching people mindset strategies that are digestible in seven minutes on average, which he, later on, wrote into a book called The Seven Minute Mindset.

Our guest, Nick Cownie helps people break through to the next level by rewiring their brains, helping them build unshakable confidence, and destroying self-sabotage. In our recent episode, Nick shared with us an impactful yet ridiculously simple concept of CHOICE.
Wanna try this quick mindset work? Here goes…
Write the word CHOICE on a piece of paper, in capital letters so that the letters bleed through to the other side of the paper.
Write it so that you can see through the paper, and then flip that paper over.
Notice that it still perfectly reads CHOICE because of the way letters are formed.
And so you turn it over and over and over, and every single time it reads CHOICE.
And so the concept is there's always another choice, right?
Nick commits to his belief that FREEDOM IS A CHOICE- and it's not a one-off choice.
And it really does come down to the moment by moment choices with the criteria that you ask yourself –
“Is this moving me closer or further from my personal definition of freedom and what that means to me in my life?”

Nick is a certified NLP trainer, published author, international speaker, and certified digital marketing specialist.

Learning NLP at 26, Nick managed to resolve in ten minutes his PTSD condition which he grappled with and held him hostage for five long years.
Owing to his sought after course and coaching business, Nick enjoyed traveling the world with his family for a decade.
