會關注到牟宗瑋，是因為美國聯合航空舉辦「彩繪機身大賽」，來自台灣的牟宗瑋成為美國西岸優勝者，彩繪作品以海岸、棕梠樹還有金門大橋等加州元素創作，躍上飛機機身，成為空中的「移動畫布」，讓全球旅客都能欣賞。

牟宗瑋說，她喜歡旅遊到不同國家，遇到不同的人，沒想到生命中會與這些人有交集，甚至改變他的一生，覺得這樣的價值跟聯合航空很契合，因此參加比賽。

在牟宗瑋定居美國加州以前，她在台灣廣告圈做美術設計已經有十年。而牟宗瑋覺得自己生下來就是要當藝術家，但在成為藝術家以前，是什麼樣的契機，讓她決定放下在廣告圈的工作及生活，飛到美國從零開始投入藝術創作呢?

從2005年開始在美國定居十幾年的她，投入了哪些藝術創作？你知道她現在每年都會在優勝美地國家公園當駐村藝術家教人畫畫，而且還有人是早早就預定她的課程嗎？
